Located in Lands End, Bandstand with a breathtaking view of the sea, the beautiful bungalow of one of the biggest celebs of the country is every bit luxurious as one could imagine it to be. Mannat is not just the spectacular abode of the star, it’s a whole kingdom in itself.
For many of us who have no clue on how SRK actually found his ‘Mannat’ at the first place, let us tell you about it.
Interestingly, Mannat was never constructed at the lavish open space by SRK himself, it was indeed a legacy house that originally belonged to a Gujarati man, who was once SRK’s neighbor. When Shah Rukh had his heart set on the house which was called ‘Villa Vienna’ back then, he decided to meet the then owner, Nariman Dubash. After a lot of persistent convincing, Shah Rukh managed to get the house for approx Rs. 13.32 cr at that time, a value of which has now shot up to a whopping amount of Rs. 200 cr!

1. Shah Rukh wanted an exclusive prayer room, and that’s the real reason behind he planned at building his bungalow ‘Mannat’ on his own terms.

Exquisite Italian architecture and intricate neo-classical elements to boast of – the interiors of Mannat is the perfect blend of modern and stylish, adorned with curios and objects of art from around the world. The building of Mannat has two living rooms connected by a system of elevators, which is flawlessly done with paintings by M.F Hussain, antiques and other valuables. Not only that, SRK’s house has an entire floor dedicated to a playroom for his kids, a library, a private bar, and a HUGE entertainment center!
3. Mannat has the world’s best ‘Luxurious amenities’ for SRK and his family.
Shah Rukh’s dream palace has a second wing which hosts a posh lounge area for story settings, a kitchen that could make the best chefs of the world drool, and a series of offices and studios where the mega-star works. 5. The genuine story behind the name ‘Mannat’…
It was the time when Shah Rukh was finally capable of buying his dream house, ‘Villa Vienna’ (real name) – the actor thought of calling it ‘Jannat’ after he owned it. Later, after buying his house, miraculously all his wishes started coming true and his career reached an unbelievable height! And that was the moment when SRK changed his mind and decided to name his dream place as ‘Mannat’.

While we can hardly get our own separate room at our own house, Mannat is so gigantic that approximately 225 people can literally reside in it at any given point of time! Phew.
