Karnataka UG And PG Exam Likely To Be On June First Week

Karnataka: The tentative dates for UG and PG final exams have been fixed for the first or second week of June, deputy chief minister CN Ashwath Narayan said in the press meet.

After holding a meeting with vice-chancellors from across the state, the minister said a system cannot function without a tentative date and vice-chancellors have been given time to decide on it. Apart from exam dates, the government suggested doing away with practical tests this time and grade students based on their cumulative performance. 

                                              

                                                                  

         "Online classes are on. Universities will have to decide if they need more classes on reopening or if exams could be held directly," he said. He said special instructions have been given to ensure the well-being of migrant students who are in hostels.
